A few years ago, I was a mom working in the corporate world, commuting every day, underpaid, overworked, and barely seeing my kids during the week (and zero time for myself, partner, let alone friends). I knew there had to be a better way to make money and have flexibility.
I started very small as a Virtual Assistant, managing social media for a client for $500 per month.for about 7 hours a month. Within a few months, I added more services (like admin) and was making about $2,000 per month in extra income. Then I landed a $2,300/month client and continued adding clients.
Within about a year, I had replaced my corporate income and left my 9 to 5 job. Now I run a virtual service-based business that gives me flexibility, income, and control over my schedule and my life.
